A massive crowd stormed the Misano World Circuit for the World Ducati Week 2018: the manifestation of the company from Borgo Panigale that, for the tenth time, brought together all the Ducati fans on the racetrack.

The Frecce Tricolori race in the sky at Misano

Clashes, unmistakable rhombs and thousands of Ducati’s in the paddock and on the track to demonstrate what goes well beyond a simple passion. Demonstrating an all-Italian display made in the Motor Valley, the Frecce Tricolori also wanted to greet the Ducati drivers with three passages on the pit-lane and the inevitable green, white and red trail with all the riders of the Rosa deployed for a totally unique experience.

Then there were the centaurs, Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo, Danilo Petrucci, Jack Miller, Tito Rabat, Xavier Simeon, Karel Abraham, Marco Melandri, Xavi Fores, Michele Pirro, Michael Ruben Rinaldi and the Ducati legend Troy Bayliss, to take to the track for the Race of Champions, the main event of the World Ducati Week 2018. The winner was Michele Pirro, who preceded Tito Rabat and Xavi Fores before the rain interrupted the race-performance of the riders in front of the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli.

But WDW is above all a community, the sense of belonging to a brand that is much more than just a brand. Only in this way can Misano Ducatists from 5 continents be brought to Misano, also including those who have traveled 7,500 km in seven days. In the end, among pilots like Stoner, Dovizioso and Lorenzo, the most beloved seems to be an engineer: Gigi Dall'Igna. On the other hand, there were more than 91,000 people in Misano alone. Record numbers of people came out for this great edition organized by the motorcycle factory of Borgo Panigale for all its fans.
