Maserati celebrates 100 years of the Trident at the 2026 Goodwood Revival
Maserati is set to captivate audiences at the 2026 Goodwood Revival, one of the most anticipated and iconic international events dedicated to historic automotive culture. In the heart of the English countryside, the Modena-based automaker will pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of its distinctive symbol, presenting a selection of priceless historic vehicles from the renowned Maserati Umberto Panini Collection, supported by the MaseratiClassiche department.
An Edition Inspired by “La Dolce Vita”
The 2026 edition of the Goodwood Revival is entirely dedicated to the theme of “La Dolce Vita” — a heartfelt tribute to Italian passion, elegance, and motorsport culture of the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s. The famous Turning Circle, the event’s nerve center, will be transformed for the occasion into a true Italian celebration. In this dream setting, Maserati — the longest-standing automotive brand in the MotorValley — serves as an ambassador of unmistakable Italian style.
The Three Masterpieces on Display
Along Goodwood’s iconic circuit, visitors will have the opportunity to see three models up close that wrote essential chapters in the Brand’s sporting and design identity:
Maserati Berlinetta A6GCS-53: Unveiled in 1954 at the Turin Auto Show, this rare masterpiece was produced in just fourunits. It combines refined, alluring bodywork crafted by Pininfarina with a pure, proven racing pedigree.
Maserati Tipo 420M/58 “Eldorado”: Built in 1958 for the famous “Race of Two Worlds” in Monza, it entered legend as the first European single-seater race car sponsored by a non-automotive brand. Powered by a potent V8 engine, it was capable of exceeding a top speed of 350 km/h.
Maserati Tipo 61 “Birdcage”: A ground-breaking technical innovation for its era. Its famous nickname comes from its revolutionary, ultra-lightweight spaceframe chassis — composed of 200 small welded steel tubes — which delivered unprecedented agility on the track.
From the “Battle of Modena” to the Trident’s Centenary
The excitement of the Revival will not be limited to static displays. This year’s track program is enriched by the introduction of the evocative “Battle of Modena,” a race that promises fireworks, while Sunday will mark the return of the highly anticipated RAC TT Celebration, the flagship event of the weekend.
