The month of July transforms the Motor Valley into the ultimate stage for both international and national motorsport. While the month kicks off with the spotlight firmly on the titanic events of the European Le Mans Series and World Ducati Week, looking further down the starting grid reveals a packed calendar of unmissable appointments for every kind of enthusiast: a mosaic of competitions ranging from GT racing cars to vintage motorcycles, right down to Italy’s most fiercely contested feeder championships.
The very first weekend of the month immediately sets pulses racing with a global double-header, scheduled from July 3rd to 5th:
World Ducati Week 2026: an edition destined to go down in history. Beyond being the quintessential rally that paints the Riviera and the Misano World Circuit red, this year the Borgo Panigale universe comes together to celebrate a milestone of epic proportions: the brand’s centenary. Over three days, the grand celebrations for Ducati’s 100th anniversary will blend with tributes to champions, previews of new models, and the unstoppable passion of tens of thousands of Ducatisti arriving from all over the globe.
ELMS (European Le Mans Series): happening at the exact same time, four-wheel fans can soak up the magic of Endurance racing at the Autodromo di Imola. The ELMS brings prototypes and GT cars to the Motor Valley for a race where strategy, endurance, and pure speed merge into a unique spectacle.
Keeping the international bar incredibly high, the GT World Challenge Europe 2026 will make its stop at the Misano World Circuit from July 17th to 19th, unleashing the most powerful and captivating supercars on the global scene onto the track.
The Motor Valley has always been the breeding ground for Italian talent. July dedicates plenty of track time to national championships — crucial training grounds for the champions of tomorrow and a guarantee of spectacular, wheel-to-wheel racing action:
Trofeo Motoestate 2026: on Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th, the Autodromo di Modena will open its gates to a new round of Motoestate, one of the longest-running and most beloved championships by both riders and fans thanks to its authentic spirit.
Campionato Italiano Velocità (CIV / Italian Speed Championship): the Misano circuit will take center stage once again from July 24th to 26th with the CIV races. As Italy’s premier national motorcycle championship, it has always been a launchpad for talents ready to leap into the world championship paddock.
There is no future without a great history behind it. For lovers of classic engines and vintage mechanics, July serves up two weekends filled with pure nostalgia:
Varano CIV Classic 2026: the Varano de’ Melegari circuit kicks off the month of historic racing on the weekend of July 4th and 5th, bringing authentic gems of vintage motorcycle racing back to the track.
Misano CIV Classic Weekend 2026: to wrap up the month in style, glorious vintage bikes will battle it out once more on the Romagna asphalt of the Misano World Circuit from July 31st to August 2nd.
Beyond cheering on your favorites, the Motor Valley offers the chance to experience the track firsthand. On July 19th, against the backdrop of the Autodromo di Modena, the prestigious Riding School by Luca Pedersoli will host its training courses—the perfect opportunity to sharpen your riding technique, fully supported by world-class instructors.
