The legend of Ayrton Senna continues to shine, more than thirty years after his passing. Our Friend Ayrton tells his story, a short film retracing the extraordinary personality of the champion and the enduring reverence for his legacy, making its world premiere on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

The screening will take place at 10:30 AM at Casa I Wonder Pictures, preceded by a presentation with the Vice President of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Vincenzo Colla, the Mayor of Imola, Marco Panieri, the sculptor Stefano Pierotti, and the authors Vittorio Martone and Raffaele Manco. Video messages will also be presented by the President of the Region, Michele de Pascale, and journalist and writer Giorgio Terruzzi.

The delicate and moving short film was produced by the Emilia-Romagna Region in collaboration with Lepida TV and is part of the monographs in the new edition of Traguardi! Sport e territorio in Emilia-Romagna, the sports format created by Vittorio Martone together with Raffaele Manco.
