Born and raised in the heart of the Motor Valley, Asia Lanzi shared a history that is closely linked to her homeland, steeped in speed and adrenaline.
A relationship with the board that began very early, with the first snowboard lessons at only two years old. From there the passion has blossomed, going from snow to road: the love for skateboarding comes almost automatically, thanks to the dad who shared with her the magic of this sport at the age of six. A passion that has gone for so long at the same pace as that for engines, of which the father is a great supporter: in the end, however, it was precisely the skate to conquer the heart of Asia.
Growing up in the curves of the skatepark, she soon cultivated a passion that led her to win the title of CIS Champion for four consecutive years. After a 14th place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, he now aims to qualify for Paris 2024.
The fact that I went to the Olympics and was the first Italian changed my life. The great thing about skateboarding is that we are all one big family: even if I am on the other side of the world, they immediately welcome me as if they knew me from a lifetime.
Asia is now a leading figure in Italian women’s skateboarding, breaking records and inspiring new generations of skaters.
Not only an athlete, but a narrator of the Motor Valley that carries on the legacy of a territory that has shaped her passion and that has brought, also in her veins, the thrill of speed. A combination of sport and culture that has found fertile ground for the discovery of extraordinary talent.
