A group of enthusiasts led by Ennio Dallara at the end of 1969 founded the Varano Autodrome in the heart of the Land of Motors, just 25 km from the city of Parma. For many years this circuit has been a key place for the technical and technological evolution of motorsport, representing for many young talents the starting track for their careers.
Two of the most important international races held at the circuit are the Formula SAE Italy and ASI Motoshow, competitions that attract fans from all over the world.
In recent years, the circuit, thanks to the development of new motoring technologies, has become a privileged test site for many electric cars (Formula E teams) and autonomous driving vehicles. The circuit is also a daily development site for Dallara cars, a test bench for cars and motorbikes of many prestigious brands, as well as the setting for technical tests and photo shoots.
In addition to racing activities, the circuit also organises days when two- and four-wheel enthusiasts can take to the track to experience the thrill of driving their own vehicles. To keep up to date on track availability, consult the calendar.
The Varano Autodrome is located at Strada per Fosio, 1 in Varano de’ Melegari (PR).
