MUNER – Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna, is the result of synergy and connection between four Italian universities, renowned for their excellence in training, and companies of the Motor Valley, which represent the excellence of Made in Italy in the world.

Founded in 2017, MUNER has always been strongly supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region. Since its launch in 2017, MUNER and its partners have designed and are delivering 3 high-level master’s degree courses, divided into 9 different curricula, serving more than 700 students.

Offered in a professional and innovative environment, with access to cutting-edge technology and world-class professionals, each of these programs is driven by a learning-by-doing approach.

The master’s degree programmes offered by MUNER are:

  • Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles

Launched in academic year 2022/23, the Master in Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles offers a cutting-edge training offering aimed at training engineers who will guide the application of ICT technologies to new generation vehicles. The course is divided into two innovative curricula: Electronic and Communication Systems and Autonomous Driving Engineering, both focused on the most futuristic challenges of automotive engineering.

The pervasive use of electronics and information technologies in today’s and tomorrow’s vehicles is a key requirement for safer, more sustainable and more enjoyable driving. This requires up-to-date professionals, dedicated to the development, design and integration of electronic and technological subsystems in new generation vehicles. The objective of this master’s degree is to train engineers capable of working in this challenging and exciting field, with a particular focus on understanding the main electronic and communication systems as well as applications for autonomous driving.

Course Type: Master’s Degree.
Entry Requirements: To be admitted, students must have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, adequate knowledge of basic science (mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics and chemistry) and basic engineering subjects. Students are also required to have an adequate level of English language skills, at least at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Language: Courses are taught in English.
