

The Industrial Heritage Museum documents, displays and disseminates the economic-productive history of the city of Bologna and its territory, from the late Middle Ages to the present day. Six centuries of history, told in the charming renovated home of a furnace from the second half of the nineteenth century.
A project that has its roots in the long-term industrial identity of Bologna, creating a new model of development based on training and innovation.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday
The museum is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 13:00, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:30.
During the summer period, access to the exhibition will be possible on Fridays from 9:00 to 13:00, only by reservation.

The Museum preserves a complex and composite heritage of scientific instruments, machine tools, laboratory equipment, production facilities, models of production apparatus of diverse origin ranging from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present day.
To the historical core of the collections of the Museum are added the nuclei of prototypes of machines for automation, motorcycle production of the territory, exhibits and maquettes documenting the ancient city of water and silk, the result of research and insights into the industrial development of the territory.
