The Automobile Collection was founded in 1956, when the cars that are considered classic today had not yet been designed.
Today, more than 50 years later, the Collection continues to be a point of reference for all car enthusiasts.
The San Martino in Rio Museum is spread over a 650 square metre exhibition area where some forty cars, a bike and a motorbike are on display, allowing various activities to take place.
The Museum, recognised by the Fia (International Automobile Federation), is part of the regional project for the enhancement of the Emilia-Romagna motor museum circuit.
The collection can be visited by e-mail reservation.

The Stable organises various initiatives, most of them involving trips and outings, others events.
It also organises non-competitive tourist rallies, which every two years have brought members and their beloved cars to compete on Greek and Swiss roads.
The Scuderia is endeavouring to broaden its scope by increasing synergies with other clubs and providing more information to members through the introduction of the Gazzetta della Scuderia and online websites.
There are also many charitable initiatives in favour of the community organised and promoted by the Scuderia San Martino, with the aim of further rooting a sense of belonging to the territory.
With 1092 people, Scuderia San Martino is the club with the highest number of members in Emilia-Romagna.
‘This result is a source of great pride for us, not least because it was achieved at a time when our sector suffered a considerable setback due to the pandemic and the difficulty of organising events.’
The Museo dell’Automobile Scuderia San Martino Collection is located in via Barbieri, 1242018 S. Martino in Rio, Reggio Emilia.
