The Pollini Collection is a journey of discovery of the fascinating world of the automobile explained through its links to history, personalities, cinema, music and other important aspects of society from 1950 to 2000. Anecdotes of history and memory collected by Bolognese Giovanni Pollini, who has managed to shape a rich collection of model cars, advertising brochures, trade magazines, vintage drawings and other objects gravitating around the world of the automobile.
The evolution of habits and customs from the 1950s to 2000, through the history and models of cars that have accompanied several generations. A way to highlight that subtle link that exists between cars and the world of cinema, fashion, sports, politics and art.
The Pollini Collection can be visited by reservation only, for groups of a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 40 people, by calling between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Small groups or individual visitors may join other groups.

Technical advances in the automotive world have also reflected what have been leaps forward in manufacturing and societal evolution. But how to highlight the close connection between the automotive world and that of various economic organizations? John Pollini has tried to answer this question by creating an association whose purpose is to foster knowledge of the evolution of customs and habits from the 1950s to 2000 through the history and models of cars that have accompanied several generations.
The collection includes model cars, advertising brochures, owner’s manuals, trade magazines, vintage car models and objects that gravitate around the world of cars (from valve radios to record players, from old highway tickets to telephone tokens and many other curiosities).
The Pollini Collection is located at Via Guido Rossa, 7 in Casalecchio di Reno (BO).
