A track that breathes passion. A legendary circuit that has been the scene of legendary sporting feats. The Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari hosts car and motorcycle races, as well as fairs, events and concerts, making it the beating heart of Imola and its cultural life.
Conceived by Checco Costa, the laying of the foundation stone took place in March 1950. Officially opened in 1953, the racetrack has hosted the most important international motorsport races, starting with the 200 Miglia in 1972 and ending with the first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1979 and the SBK World Championship, first edition dated 2001.
Today, for more than fifty years, the “Enzo and Dino Ferrari” Autodrome has been the bearer of sporting, historical, cultural and economic values, for the territory in which it is located and for the entire country.
There are so many competitions hosted inside the circuit, such as Formula 1, the MotoGP, World SBK, World MXGP, the Italian Motorcycle Speed Championship, the International GT Open and the European Le Mans Series.
The location offered by the racetrack, however, allows it to go even further, lending itself to the organization of major events and manifestations, such as concerts, trade fairs, private and corporate events, incentives, conferences, showrooms, film and photographic sets.
The Autodromo “Enzo and Dino Ferrari” is located at Piazza Ayrton Senna da Silva, 1, in Imola, Bologna.
