Università di Ferrara

The University of Ferrara is one of the oldest universities in Italy. It was founded in 1391 by Marquis Alberto V d’Este, on the concession of Pope Boniface IX. Its mission was to train cultured, prepared people, aware of themselves and their talent, proactive, open to the world and to the future. The University of Ferrara offers a wide range of Degree Courses (about 60), and has 12 Departments, plus the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Prevention. Degree courses are designed to meet the needs of the world of work, with a growing international outlook, thanks to many exhchange courses and fruitful collaborations with prestigious universities all over the world.
