A history of engines since 1951. Today the company, born as FBM (Fabbrica Bolognese Motocicli) from the vision of Vittorio Minarelli and Franco Morini, and over time renamed Motori Minarelli, has reached the 70-year mark. An Italian story, heritage of the Motor Valley, standing out with the production of two-stroke engines for mopeds and motorcycles.
Minarelli has always been a protagonist in sporting events, working side by side with absolute champions such as Loris Reggiani, Pierpaolo Bianchi and Angel Nieto in their legendary feats, and can boast extraordinary successes such as 18 world speed records, including two riders’ titles and four constructors’ titles in the 125cc World Championship.
Motori Minarelli product mix includes two-stroke and four-stroke 50cc, 125cc, 250cc, 300cc and 400cc internal combustion engines with a high technological content, for scooter and motorcycle application.
