Record attendance and secured renewal until 2031: Misano remains in the spotlight

A memorable weekend

The 2025 Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera will go down in history: on the same day the renewal agreement with Dorna Sports was officially announced, securing MotoGP at Misano through 2031, the event also recorded its best-ever attendance, with 174,821 spectators over the weekend (31,170 on Friday, 51,980 on Saturday, and 91,671 on Sunday).

Since 2007, the San Marino GP has been a cornerstone of the Motor Valley, steadily growing to become an international reference point for entertainment, sport, and tourism. The estimated economic impact in 2024 exceeded €85 million, with numbers constantly increasing thanks to collaboration between the Republic of San Marino, the Emilia-Romagna Region, local Riviera municipalities, and Misano World Circuit.

Spectacle on and off the track

The attendance record was celebrated with moments of Romagnol showmanship and folklore: from the performance of the Casadei Orchestra at the starting grid, to the national anthems, and the presence of VIPs in the circuit, including Lorenzo Musetti, Cesare Cremonini, Stefano Accorsi, Kimi Antonelli, and Nicolò Martinenghi. On the sporting side, Marc Marquez’s Ducati dominated, followed by Marco Bezzecchi and his brother Alex Bezzecchi, also a protagonist in the Saturday Sprint race.

The weekend confirmed the territory’s ability to offer a complete experience: from the new Misano World Circuit spaces – including the Pit Building, the MWC Square open year-round, and the new Paddock – to the over 20 distributed events of the Riders’ Land Experience, designed to engage fans of all ages, creating a true festival atmosphere.
