It was July 4, 1926, when, at the heart of a Bologna alive with the scientific excitement of Guglielmo Marconi’s discoveries and technological progress, Antonio Cavalieri Ducati, together with his sons Adriano, Bruno, and Marcello, founded the “Società Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati.” The company, initially focused on radio communication technologies, would evolve over time into what it is today: a global icon on two wheels, uniquely blending technological innovation, emotion, and a refined sense of design.

Today, July 4, 2025, on its 99th anniversary, Ducati celebrates its historical legacy by launching the official Instagram profile of the Ducati Museum (@museoducati): a digital space created to tell the brand’s story and spark the imagination of generations of enthusiasts, while guiding the Ducatista community toward the milestone centennial celebration in 2026.

Let’s not forget that in addition to Instagram, the Ducati Museum is also active on Facebook, where it has long been sharing curiosities, archival images, and stories from the brand’s past and present. A narrative that continues in person as well: the Ducati Museum and Factory in Borgo Panigale are open for visits and welcome thousands of enthusiasts from around the world each year. It’s a unique opportunity to discover nearly a century of innovation and passion, and to see up close how the motorcycles that ignite the dreams of Ducatisti across generations are made.
