International Vespa Historic Register Meeting in Ravenna

In Ravenna the 7-8-9-10 June 2018 the Vespa Club Romagna and Vespa Club Ravenna City of Art will present: International Gathering, Vespa Historic Register and Beauty Contest "La Bella In Mostra ".

Program

June 7, 2018
10:00am Opening of the reception at the Vespa Museum "" La Bella In Mostra "", welcoming participants with a backpack containing the material related to the gathering.
- Possibility to visit the Vespa museum for the whole day.
- Staff will be at your disposal that will take you to one of the places listed below in groups:
1- Teodorico Mausoleum
2- The ancient port, archaeological park of Classe
3- Rocca Brancaleone.

2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Marcophily from Poste Italiane

HOURS 19:00 Departure for Marina di Ravenna, tour of the locality and arrival at the "" Bacino Dei Pescatori "" along the canal. A "60s" style dinner will be offered: a taste of local grilled and fried fish, served in a paper bag, as used to be done at sea. Finally, traditional desserts from Romagna. Evening entertainment with a walk on the pier and tour around the evening markets along Viale delle Nazioni.

June 8, 2018
8:00 am: Opening of the reception and welcoming last arrivals to the Museo Vespa Centro MIR. with a backpack.

10:15 am: Departure for the "" Tour of the Valleys ""

12.30 pm: Lunch at the "L'Angelina" farm.

After lunch we will then proceed in the direction of Savarna to visit to the "Sgurì" Ethnographic Museum dedicated to the arts and crafts of Romagna farmers.
Surprise "" skill vespista " game where a representative can participate for each Vespa Club present. Return to Ravenna.

8.00 pm: Departure for the Punta Marina Terme Spa complex. Dinner at the beach with music and entertainment.

June 9, 2018
8.00 AM: Meeting at the MIR Center at the Vespa Museum "" La Bella in Mostra "".

9.30: Departure for the tour of the city of Ravenna where we will travel its streets until reaching the meeting point, established in Piazza Kennedy, pedestrian area in the heart of the historic center. For those who want to visit some of our monuments, among the best known in the world, UNESCO Heritage will be made available to multilingual tour guides.

13.00: Buffet lunch in the picturesque setting of Piazza Kennedy.

3.30 pm: "" Beauty competition - La Bella in Mostra ""
For Vespa enthusiasts who want to take part in the beauty competition, participants are encouraged wear clothes related to the era of their Vespa from the morning onwards, to enter into the spirit .

7.30 pm: Buffet aperitif at the "La Campaza" restaurant "located inside the park" "Villaggio delle Cicogne" ".
Possibility to visit the park guided by the caretaker.

HOURS: 20:30: Start of gala dinner in an elegant location facing the lake inside the park itself.

10 June 2018
9.00 am: Meeting at the MIR Center at the Vespa Museum "" La Bella in Mostra "".

9.30 am: Departure for the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, with a stop for panoramic photos.

Blessing of the Vespas, as was done in the gatherings of the 50s - 60s officialized by the Bishop of Ravenna.

We will continue to the adjacent beaches: Lido di Dante, Lido Adriano, Punta Marina Terme. Here, in the seaside town, we will visit the bunkers of the 2nd world war and the "" Proloco "" with an aperitif offered for all participants.

12.30 pm: Return to Ravenna with arrival at the Vespa Museum, buffet lunch with typical products from Romagna along the MIR Center gallery.
Toast and final farewell.
