Confirmed success for the Emilia-Romagna Round of WorldSBK: over the weekend, a total of 76,063 fans packed the Misano World Circuit. A large and passionate crowd filled the stands, with 13,953 in attendance on Friday, 26,852 on Saturday, and 35,258 on Sunday.
These numbers reward a format that is increasingly engaging, offering thrilling races on both Saturday and Sunday, and featuring a paddock open to the public, with access included in grandstand tickets. A unique opportunity to experience podium ceremonies and the behind-the-scenes atmosphere up close.
The paddock once again proved to be the beating heart of the event, enhanced by the MWC Square — now an integral part of the circuit experience — offering food & beverage options and commercial activities designed for fans.
As for the on-track excitement: Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) capped off a weekend to remember with a win in Race 2, after already claiming victory in both Race 1 and the morning’s Superpole Race. Behind him, championship leader Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) secured second place. Despite a crash in the Superpole Race caused by contact with Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team), Bulega started Race 2 from tenth and managed to limit the damage. Rounding out the Race 2 podium was Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati).
Worth noting is the Superpole Race, where Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) brought the historic brand back to the podium after 25 years. Third place went to Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
In Supersport, victory went to Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team), ahead of Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing VerdNatura) and Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse). Championship leader Stefano Manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) was forced to give up a repeat win after crashing out while leading.
