EXPO FORZE ARMATE
The General Secretariat of Defense and National Armaments Directorate among the protagonists of MVF23, at the Ducal Palace in Modena, home of the Military Academy, in the Defense exhibition area presents the technological progress of vehicles supplied to the Armed Forces and their dual use (Dual Use) capable of carrying out both civilian and military tasks, so that they can promptly respond both to national and international security needs and to requests for intervention in emergencies in the service of the community.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to get acquainted with some of the most significant and recently acquired vehicles developed by the national industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, such as the New Blindo "Centauro" from the Iveco Oto-Melara Consortium and the Light Tactical Multirole Vehicle (VTLM) "Lince" 2 with Hitrole remote turret from Iveco SpA.
Also on display are some projects developed under the National Military Research Plan managed by the General Secretariat of Defense and National Armaments Directorate, namely an innovative full Hybrid vehicle by Oral Engineering Company, the Anti Blast seat by Dallara Company, the VUHLCAN indirect vision system of the Podestà Company for driving a vehicle with a closed door or in low visibility conditions, the Autonomous Universal Guidance System for Terrestrial Vehicles (SAGUVET), installed on a VTLM, and the Umnanned Vehicle Route Clearence, aimed at the realization of a Route Clearance system of the company Lavorazioni Elettroniche e Meccaniche Srl.
