Nicola De Mattia

After graduating in Economics and Business and obtaining a Master's degree in Business Administration, Nicola De Mattia founded in the 1990s and early 2000s several start-ups focused on the development of new technologies, in particular those related to IoT. Since 2011, De Mattia has been CEO of Targa Telematics, a leader in technologies related to digital platforms for Smart Mobility, offering innovative solutions that enable businesses, organisations and communities to fully grasp the potential of applying technologies linked to the connectivity of things. Having brought the company to its current size, thanks to sustained growth in recent years, De Mattia is now responsible for guiding the company through its internationalisation process, which has accelerated in recent years and culminated in the acquisition of the Viasat Group, enabling Targa Telematics to strengthen its foothold in European markets and to operate on international projects with dedicated local teams.
