Giovanni Delfino

CEO Tatuus Racing, Autotecnica Motori e Breda Racing

Raised in Arese and with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Giovanni Delfino began his professional career as an engine engineer in Alfa Romeo, Alfa Corse and N. Technology, taking care of team powertrain development and thus coming into contact with Autotecnica Motori for the first time.
In 2008, he invested together with Renzo Federici in Autotecnica Motori, taking over the majority shares of the company, becoming its CEO and initiating a process of transformation and evolution that over the years has allowed the company to increase its production volume and initiate new projects, moving from the pure transformation of competition engines to an elite motoring reality, able to design, develop and build powertrains in-house, starting from a blank sheet of paper and a good idea.

This process gave birth to a new chapter in 2020, when despite the difficulties of the pandemic period the first engine totally designed, developed and built in-house at Autotecnica was born: the V6 in Twin Turbo and Aspirata versions. After Autotecnica, Tatuus and Breda Racing joined forces in 2018, Delfino was appointed CEO of the Group, whose majority shares were taken over in May 2023 by "The Equity Club."

In his role, Delfino oversees and coordinates all the activities of the Group's three companies, which under his direction go through processes of continuous growth and expand their global business, headcount and structures.

As early as 2012, in fact, he coordinated the first expansion of the ATM HQ in Casalmaggiore, personally designing the iconic glass facade that characterizes the building. Today, the Autotecnica HQ itself is at the center of a further expansion, which by the end of 2024 will see a tripling of the space available to the company.

The CEO's personal planning and design also gave rise to Tatuus HQ, the elegant building that stands on the border between Lainate and Arese, on the land that for decades housed the production spaces of Alfa Romeo's historic headquarters. In the two buildings, Delfino's vision takes shape, with particular attention to the use of glass, an essential element to guarantee employees maximum natural light in all weather conditions and a consequent improvement in the work experience. Not surprisingly, it is precisely the focus on the employee that has always been one of the cornerstones of his managerial vision.
