Angelo Sticchi Damiani

Engineer Angelo Sticchi Damiani is President of the Automobile Club of Italy, President of ACI Storico, National Councilor of CONI, President of Sara Assicurazioni and ACI Informatica, and Honorary President of the Italian Association for Traffic and Transportation Engineering. He has designed major road, airport, and railway infrastructures, as well as racetracks and car tracks. His experience and passion for motors is also recognized in the international arena: former representative of Italy in the World Sports Council of the International Automobile Federation, he is Honorary Vice President of the World Sports Council of the International Automobile Federation.
He was awarded the Stella d'Oro for sporting merit by CONI in 2010, the Barocco Award in 2012, and twice (1987 and 2013) the Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary's highest honor. In 2014 he was named Commendatore, in 2018 Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, and in 2022 Knight of the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus.
