Head of Innovation and R&D Services Ducati
Graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1996, he joined Ducati the same year, initially working as a Chassis Structural Analyst, building on his experience in finite element analysis developed during his Master’s thesis.
In 2000, he became Head of the Simulations Department, overseeing analyses for both chassis and engine components. Since 2006, he has also led R&D Services, including the Metallurgical Laboratory (focused on failure analysis, non-destructive testing and new parts analysis) and Process Technology, working in co-design with suppliers on chassis and engine components.
In 2008, he completed the EMTIM – Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management at Bologna Business School. From 2007 to 2019, he served as Head of the Chassis Design Department, managing multiple design teams involved in the development of new motorcycles.
Since 2019, he has been Head of Innovation, leading proof-of-concept projects to assess new technologies, materials and concepts, maintaining relationships with universities and research centres, and managing funded projects at regional, national and European levels, as well as intellectual property.
