Gian Luca Pellegrini joined Quattroruote in 1988, embarking on a career path entirely within Italy’s leading automotive publication. Over nearly four decades, he held increasingly senior roles—from correspondent to editor-in-chief, then deputy editor with responsibility for digital transformation—until he was appointed editor-in-chief in 2014.

After more than eleven years at the helm, at the end of 2025 he assumed the role of Editorial Director of Editoriale Domus’ automotive titles, while also managing Ruoteclassiche and Quattroruote Fleet&Business. He is one of the Italian members of the Car of the Year jury and president of the Circolo dell’Automobile.
