Alberto Scuro, born in Rome on January 8, 1958, and a graduate of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Verona, has always been a passionate enthusiast of classic cars and engines.
An ASI member since 1986, in 2010 he joined the Board of Directors of the Enrico Bernardi Bernardi Veteran Car Club of Verona. In 2011, he was elected to the Federal Council of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (Italian Historic Automobile Club) and simultaneously joined the Board of Directors of the ASI Service Company. As an ASI Federal Councilor, he collaborated in the organization of various cultural and social events, which took place during ASI’s official participation in trade fairs. In 2015, he was reappointed as a Federal Councilor.
At the end of 2017, he remained the sole director of the organization and led the Federation to the elections of January 13, 2018, becoming Vice President. In April 2019, he was elected President of the Federation for the four-year term 2019-2023 and was subsequently reappointed for a second term 2023-2026.
In November 2025, in Brazil, he was elected President of FIVA, the International Federation of Old Vehicles, represented by 112 associations in 82 countries worldwide.
