Stefano Pareglio is Full Professor of Applied Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore,
where he teaches Political Economy and Environmental and Energy Economics, and where he serves
on committees, observatories, research centers, and advisory boards.
He authored more than 150 scientific publications in the fields of environmental, climate, and energy
economics, as well as urban and regional economics. He also serves as a reviewer for numerous
international scientific journals and is part of the leading scientific associations in these fields. He has
participated in more than 90 research projects in economics.
He led several research centers — Fondazione Lombardia Ambiente (1999–2014), Università Cattolica
del Sacro Cuore (2006–2020), and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (2016–2021) — and served as
Chairman of Fondazione Utilitatis (2022–2023).
He was a member of the Supervisory Board of A2A (2012–2014) and then served on the Board of
Directors of A2A (2014–2017), ATM Milano (2017–2021), and Avio (2020–2021). Since its establishment
in July 2022, he has been serving as Chairman of Deloitte Climate & Sustainability srl SB.
