Stefano is currently Senior Partner at CDP Venture Capital SGR SpA, where he is in charge of Fondo Acceleratori, a 260M€ dedicated fund focused on Seed/ Early-stage investments in partnership with leading Italian and International Accelerators. The fund is currently running 20 accelerator programs with over 500 startups invested in high tech sectors such as fintech, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, mobility, energy, circular economy, health to name a few and with more than 150 institutional and corporate partners. 

Previously, he has been Partner in charge of the digital/tech practice at Innogest SGR SpA, a major Italian Venture Capital firm, focusing on deal selection, negotiation, closing of new investment opportunities and portfolio management. Stefano has held several university and post-university master courses, mainly on entrepreneurship, finance and innovation. He holds a Master of Science (summa cum laude) in Engineering & Management from Polytechnic University in Turin and received a Ph.D from Polytechnic University in Milan, with a doctoral thesis on Venture Capital and valuation of hi-tech company assets.
