Simone d’Aquino is Head of AI & Augmented Engineering at Capgemini Engineering Italy. 
With more than 20 years of experience in digital transformation and digital engineering, he leads initiatives that embed Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI into engineering, R&D and manufacturing processes, helping companies evolve towards smarter, more efficient and scalable operating models. 
At Capgemini, he has held leadership roles across Digital Engineering, Data & AI and Intelligent Industry, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for complex industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace & defense, energy, life sciences and manufacturing. 
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Padua and has completed executive programs in management, data science, AI and digital transformation.
