Roberto Pilotto spent all his career in private equity, both as a direct investor and as a Limited Partner.

He is currently International Partner at FSI, the largest Italy-based private equity manager with over
EUR 3 bn, where he supports the development of the fund, the Fund-Raising activities and where he is
part of the Sustainability Committee and Valuation Committee. He is also Chairman of the Global
Private Equity Alliance, a club of 7 global private equity managers which includes FSI.

He was part of the Senior Team for Fund Investments at Mubadala Capital, the UAE Sovereign Fund
based in Abu Dhabi, where he managed investments and portfolios across Europe and Asia.
Previously, he developed and served for 11 years as Head of Prudential UK’s PPM Managers (now M&G
PFI) in London, where he led the team investing over €1.7 billion on behalf of the Prudential Life Fund,
with focus on emerging managers in Europe, Asia, and Emerging Markets.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience in London at the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development, and in Italy at Friulia, where he was involved in numerous growth capital transactions.
