Riccardo is a materials engineer with experience in the advanced composites industry. He began his career at Persico Marine, working on the development of composite components for high-performance sailing applications. In this role, he managed the entire production cycle of composite parts, from design to final delivery, coordinating activities related to engineering, industrialization, quality control, timing, and manufacturing processes. 
He later joined Caracol, a company specialized in Large Scale Additive Manufacturing (LSAM), where he focused on the management and industrialization of robotic cells for large-scale additive manufacturing, gaining cross-functional expertise in robotic integration and advanced manufacturing systems. 
In 2023, he co-founded Acus with the goal of rethinking how molds and tooling for advanced composites are produced, developing a hybrid-process-based approach aimed at improving flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability in composite manufacturing.
