Milo De Soricellis was born in Verona in 1990 and is currently the CTO and cofounder of Newtwen, a startup launched in Padua in 2020. Newtwen develops a
software engineering platform for designing virtual sensors. These advanced software
tools can be embedded into control systems to monitor otherwise unmeasurable
variables in real time and enable predictive control in electromechanical drives. With a
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua and a PhD
focused on power electronics and electric drive control systems, Milo brings both
academic depth and industry know-how. He spent several years in Germany working
as a software engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH, where he gained hands-on experience
in translating cutting-edge research into practical software solutions for the
automotive world.
