Matteo Magnaghi is Sustainable Product Stewardship Officer at Pirelli, within the
Group Sustainability and New Mobility Department, where he is responsible for defining
policies and driving the development of the Group’s product sustainability strategies. An
Environmental Engineer with a Master’s in Environmental and Business Management, he has
over 15 years of experience in product sustainability, circular economy and environmental
management. Since joining Pirelli in 2009, he has held several senior roles taking on greater
responsibilities, including Group Environmental Manager, with a strong focus on product andprocess sustainability, product life cycle impacts and circular economy. He is a member of
Pirelli’s Sustainability Strategic Committee, chaired by the Executive Vice Chairman, and
represents the company in leading tyre industry associations and international organizations
and working groups, contributing to the development of sustainability policies and
regulations at global level.
