Matteo Battaini is a senior manager with extensive experience in the automotive sector.
He currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Pirelli, with the goal of leading the company’s strategies toward Net Zero by 2040, as well as overseeing various programs along the corporate sustainability journey.
In his previous roles, he served as Chief Marketing Officer, Senior Vice President of Group Procurement and Supply Chain, as well as CEO and COO for the North America region.
He also serves as Pirelli’s CEO representative within the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and, since 2017, has been a board member of the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA).
