Jacopo Ferretti is a Power Electronics Engineer at HPE in Modena, Italy.  
He is a Ph.D. candidate in Power Electronics at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with HPE and Aalborg University in Denmark. He holds an M.Sc. in Electric Vehicle Engineering from the Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER) and a B.Sc. in Computer and Automation Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM).  
His core research interests include PMSM motor control, semiconductor reliability assessment, and the simulation of power electronic converters. He is currently involved in several European projects dedicated to developing wide-bandgap power converters for the automotive sector and using artificial intelligence for fault prediction.
