Franco Cevolini (Modena, 1972) graduated in Materials Engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In 1996 he founded CRP Technology as a spin-off of Roberto Cevolini & C. (now CRP Meccanica), building on thirty years of family expertise in high-precision CNC machining, and was appointed Chairman. In 1999 he pioneered the development of the Windform® composite materials for professional SLS 3D printing. In 2000 he oversaw the production of the first titanium alloy cast gearbox for the Minardi Formula 1 team. Today he serves as CEO and Technical Director of CRP Technology and CRP Meccanica (CRP Group), personally involved in the R&D, 3D Printing and CNC Machining departments. The two companies are established reference partners for the racing industry and for the most advanced sectors including aerospace, defence, robotics and automotive.
