Francesco Toso was born in Florence and is the CEO and Co-Founder of Newtwen,
a start-up founded in Padua in 2020.

Newtwen develops software capable of generating
real-time embedded digital twin solutions for model predictive control and diagnostics
of electromechanical systems.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Padua (2020) and later completed a PhD in Industrial Engineering, focusing
on electrical drives and model predictive control applied to power electronics. In 2021,
he also earned an Executive MBA in business innovation from the Business School of
Trieste.

Over time, he has built a path that combines technical expertise with a business
mindset, enabling him to turn ideas into concrete solutions and guide their development
all the way to market.
