Director of Research at the Institute of Electronics, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). She is a co-founder of the CNIT’s National Laboratory for Wireless Communications (WiLab) and a contract professor at the University of Bologna.

An expert in wireless systems, she leads research activities in the field of vehicular communications, with a focus on connected and autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation systems. She coordinates several research projects on connected vehicles and sustainable mobility. She is the author of over 100 publications on heterogeneous wireless systems for safer and more efficient mobility.
