Andrea Dell’Orto, born in 1969, a graduate in Management Engineering, married with two children, is Executive Vice President of Dell’Orto S.p.A., a family-run company with over 90 years of history, specializing in components for the automotive and motorcycle markets.
He also serves as Director of Sales and Marketing and is Chairman of the subsidiary Dell’Orto India Private Limited.
Active in social life from a young age and a committed advocate for the Brianza region, from 2003 to 2007 he served as President of the Young People’s Group of Confindustria Monza and Brianza, the oldest territorial representative body within the Confindustria system.
As member of the General Council of Confindustria, he became President of Confindustria Monza and Brianza in May 2013. During his tenure, he contributed to the merger between Assolombarda and Confindustria Monza and Brianza, subsequently taking on the role of Vice President with responsibility for manufacturing development, medium-sized enterprises, and Industry 4.0. During the same period, he was a member of the Ministry of Economic Development’s steering committee for the Industry 4.0 plan.
He is currently a member of the General Council of Assolombarda, the Council of the Assolombarda Mechatronics Group, and the Steering Committee of the Monza and Brianza office of Assolombarda.
From 2014 to 2016, he was President of SIAS S.p.A. – Autodromo Nazionale Monza and President of Confindustria ANCMA, the National Association of Bicycles, Motorcycles, and Accessories.
From June 2018 to March 2020, he was President of EICMA S.p.A., the International Bicycle, Motorcycle, and Accessories Show. During his tenure, the Show introduced important innovations and achieved significant results in terms of attendance, trade participation, and public and press attention.
In 2019, he received the FORUMAutoMotive Personality of the Year award.
Since January 2020, he has been Deputy President of the non-profit organization Cancro Primo Aiuto.
In 2021, he was awarded the Walter Fontana Prize for DELLORTO Motorsport’s commitment to fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2023, he ranked DELLORTO among the three finalists for the prestigious Italian Mechatronics Award.
In May 2023, to mark the company’s 90th anniversary, it promoted Family Days for employees and their families, confirming the connection between the company, people, and the local area as one of the distinctive elements of DELLORTO’s Made in Brianza brand.
In recent years, it has continued to contribute to strengthening DELLORTO’s positioning in innovation, motorsport, sustainability, and the automotive supply chain. This path includes recognition as an Official Ducati Supplier, the company’s entry into ARCA Tecnologie for the development of electrification solutions, and, in 2026, its recognition as one of the “TOP 50 – Automotive Excellence” by Gazzetta Motori.
