Andrea Bombardi holds the current position of Executive Vice President – Global Market Development looking after strategic streams (energy transition, integrated asset management, proptech, compliance 2.0, space&defence) and Key Account Management
 
Before he was responsible of Carbon Reduction Excellence for RINA positioning in the energy transition, with a special focus on hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture utilization and storage, bio and syn fuels, nuclear and innovative cold ironing solutions.
 
He is in the Board of H2IT (Italian Hydrogen Association) and AIN (Associazione Italiana Nucleare) and delegate in Hydrogen Europe
 
Previously he managed Inspection & Field worldwide network, Corporate Sales Excellence and Industry, focused on space & defence, materials technology and innovation consulting services.
 
His career started in Energy, from Project Manager till Chief Commercial Officer for Energy and Infrastructures, being responsible for worldwide business strategy, internationalization boosting, products diversification towards innovation and digitalization, management of key clients for TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Infrastructures and Real Estate markets.
 
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genova in 1999 and joined RINA in 2000.
 
He gained a significant experience in the international market, holding the position of Director of RINA in Kazakhstan and managing various RINA foreign entities in UK, Slovakia, Ghana, Mozambique and Congo.
 
Ha maturato una significativa esperienza a livello internazionale, ricoprendo il ruolo di Direttore di RINA in Kazakistan e gestendo varie entità estere di RINA nel Regno Unito, Slovacchia, Ghana, Mozambico e Congo.
