Polimi Motorcycle Factory is the motorcycle team of the Politecnico di Milano. It was founded in 2015 within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, born from the passion of a small group of students.
Today, the team is made up of more than one hundred students from various engineering, design, and architecture programmes. The team is responsible for the design, development, and fabrication of racing prototypes, built entirely from scratch.
Since its founding, Polimi Motorcycle Factory has participated in the international MotoStudent competition and, starting in 2025, will also compete in the Italian Speed Championship (CIV) in the Moto3 category. The goal is to offer students a concrete and multidisciplinary educational experience that combines technical skills, project management, and teamwork—bringing the innovation and talent of the Politecnico di Milano to the racetrack.
