ITS MAKER is one of Italy’s leading hubs for higher technical education in the field of advanced mechanics, with campuses in Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Fornovo di Taro. The Foundation was established through a collaboration between companies, universities, training organizations, and institutions, with the goal of training highly specialized technicians in the areas of mechatronics, industrial automation, engines, and packaging.
The two-year programs offered by ITS MAKER combine theory and hands-on experience, with a strong focus on employability: over 90% of students find a job within a year of graduating. The skills developed are tailored to meet the direct needs of local companies, helping to bridge the gap between supply and demand in the Industry 4.0 landscape.
