Ferrara Squadra Corse

Ferrara Squadra Corse is a young Formula Student team with deep historical roots.
Its story began in the late 1990s, when a group of university students decided to take part in the 2002 competition at Leicester with a car they had entirely built themselves. The venture proved to be a success: the team achieved excellent results and became the first Italian racing team to participate in the event with a combustion-engine single-seater.
Today, Ferrara Squadra Corse is starting anew with a new generation of students, a new name, and a new vision. Although different from the original team, it shares the same spirit: a passion for competition, the desire to challenge oneself, and the ambition to create something unique. The team acknowledges the value of its past while embracing the principles of Generation Z. For this reason, it has chosen to develop a fully electric single-seater — a symbol of awareness, innovation, and commitment to a more sustainable future — positioning itself as an active part of the change. Its identity may be new, but the drive to race remains unchanged.
