In the heart of Modena, within the evocative setting of the Church of San Carlo, the exhibition “An Italian Story of Fashion and Motors” comes to life.
The initiative is promoted by the Fondazione Collegio San Carlo, which this year celebrates the 400th anniversary of its foundation, and is organised by Maria Carafoli in collaboration with Modateca Deanna.
The exhibition creates a dialogue between creativity, craftsmanship and innovation, exploring the connection between high fashion and automotive culture.
On display are creations by Giorgio Armani, Valentino Garavani, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Capucci, Renato Balestra, Moschino, Romeo Gigli, Gucci, Mila Schön, Scervino and Renzo Rosso, worn by artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Mirella Freni and Raina Kabaivanska.
This wide-ranging exhibition project aims to celebrate and create a dialogue between two of the most representative and recognisable excellences of Made in Italy and, in particular, of the Modena district: fashion and automotive.
