The film explores the lights and shadows of a divisive figure: loved and hated, yet impossible to ignore. Argentine by birth and Modenese by adoption, Alejandro de Tomaso lived many lives in one: first as a racing driver, then as a constructor, and finally as an industrialist.
The documentary brings to light the revolutions and contradictions of a man capable of competing with the giants of the automotive industry in the 1950s. Through interviews and archive material, it investigates what remains today of his cultural and industrial legacy, despite the disappearance of the historic factory in 2018.
Followed by a talk with director Davide Maffei.
