Juergen Reers is a Senior Managing Director at Accenture, based in Munich. He is the global Industrial Sector Lead Automotive covering all business lines of Accenture. He has founded and led the Mobility X Practice integrating all Accenture initiatives on Connected, Autonomous and Shared Mobility across all relevant industries and regions, collaborating strongly with all practices in Industry X. Furthermore, Juergen has launched and sponsors the Accenture Software Defined Vehicle Industry Solution.
 
With more than 25 years of consulting and industry experience in Automotive and Mobility, he has worked for numerous vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, mobility service providers and in distribution/retail with a focus on strategy/M&A, sales and marketing and performance improvement. His recent focus is on working with Automotive clients on large transformation programs towards software enable and sustainable mobility. 
 
Juergen is a regular speaker at industry events and a contributor to leading publications. He frequently advises, writes and talks about the implication of technology on the automotive and mobility industry and how businesses can leverage new technologies to transform and re-invent business models.
Juergen holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Muenster, Germany as well as Azusa Pacific University in the Greater Los Angeles area, California.
 
Juergen lived and worked for 5 years in the United States and led the North America region of a global strategy consulting firm. He served on the Board of the German-American Chamber of Commerce for the Midwest in Chicago, Illinois, and was a member of the German American Business Council in Washington, DC. Juergen is has been a scholar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
 
Juergen lives with his wife and their three children in Graefelfing in the Munich Area. He likes to spend leisure time with family and friends in the Austrian Alps and is passionate about skiing, hiking, and biking. He also enjoys concerts and the opera.
