Sara Notargiacomo is co-founder and CEO of Huxelerate, a deep-tech company born out of research at Politecnico di Milano. After graduating in Economic Disciplines from Bocconi University and gaining various experiences in the world of digital startups, she decided to steer her career towards deep-tech, moving closer to scientific research. For four years, she worked at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on technology transfer and collaborating with the NECST Laboratory, a center of excellence in computing and cybersecurity.

Huxelerate emerged as a natural evolution of this path: a synthesis of research, technological innovation, and entrepreneurial vision. With the co-founding of the company, Sara set the goal of revolutionizing software optimization by developing fully digital, AI-driven simulation solutions capable of promptly identifying and resolving performance issues in the early stages of development, without the need for execution on physical hardware.

The company aims to define a new standard for optimizing intelligent systems integrated into the vehicles of the future, making a concrete contribution to the evolution toward the Software-Defined Vehicle paradigm. Huxelerate supports OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the transition to “shift-left” approaches, reducing development costs, shortening time-to-market, and improving the reliability of electronic and software architectures.

In 2020, Forbes Italia included her in the list of Global Leaders Under 30 in the Science category.
