LOKI s.r.l. is an innovative startup founded in December 2023, aimed at improving safety through technology. Our team is composed of highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in various sectors (managerial, AI, hardware, and software development) and industries (aerospace, automotive, railway, and ICT). This heterogeneous expertise has led to the development of our first product, “Asfalto Sicuro®”, an advanced solution that, using plug & play hardware, identifies, geolocates, and classifies road defects such as potholes and surface irregularities by severity. 

By utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), high-resolution cameras, and the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), our product offers: 
Speed: Up to 60% reduction in inspection times 
Savings: Up to 70% reduction in maintenance costs 
Increased Road Safety: Up to 80% reduction in damage compensation costs 

For the product’s development, we collaborated with various municipalities, receiving positive feedback on the accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness of our system. This led to the signing of our first collaboration contracts. 
Some municipalities are already using the product, and recently, the flexibility of our product enabled us to win a European EIT (RAPTOR) grant for the detection of pedestrian crossings and accessibility verification. Additionally, we have been accepted into the 18-month ESA BIC Turin incubation program. 
We aim to expand into the market of automatic on-the-move detection, opening opportunities for new markets and product developments.
