Sustainability and Competitiveness:
ESG Strategies, European Regulations and Innovation for the Future

Conferences

Complesso San Paolo – Sala del Leccio

Sustainability, outlined in the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, addresses not only the urgent climate challenge posed by extreme weather events but also aims to protect the planet and all ecosystems as a whole. For companies, ESG sustainability programs have become a strategic pillar, essential for attracting talent and investment and ensuring long-term competitiveness.

New European regulations, such as the CSRD, are becoming mandatory and require significant adjustments to corporate management systems. For example, companies will need to implement CO₂ emissions tracking according to Scope 1, 2, and 3 classifications, with the ultimate goal of achieving Net Zero Carbon.
