Giuseppe Rosso is VP Business Development, Automotive at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, Giuseppe deeply supports the integration of Arriver within Qualcomm Technologies, the actual generation product execution, and the strategy definition for key markets like China and India. Giuseppe brings a strong and diverse background in automotive electronics gained through progressive levels of leadership within product development, innovation, sales, business management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Qualcomm Technologies, Giuseppe was President of Arriver where he managed the creation of the software company focused on ADAS/AD perception and drive policy algorithm development. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President Engineering System & ADAS/AD Features Development and Technology Advisor at Veoneer. Giuseppe also worked at Magneti Marelli for 25 years, most notably as Global Chief Technology Officer from 2010 to 2016, CEO BL Infotainment & Telematics from 2010 to 2013, and CEO BL Electronics from 2005 to 2009.
Giuseppe was born in Turin, Italy and has a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the “Politecnico di Torino”, Turin, Italy.
The acceleration toward digitalization implies the revision of processes involving the entire chain. Cybersecurity, data fog, data ownership, privacy, and AI are revolutionizing the world as we know it, to the point of generating new needs in terms of products and technologies, as well as developing new consumer behaviors. The metaverse further accelerates this process. The digitization of data, interchanges, and the use of digital twins for process efficiency make a real contribution to reducing the environmental impact of any production process.
