Alessandro Zilli is business manager of New Holland's Alternative Fuels for the Italian market and is responsible for marketing the products defined in CNH Industrial's "Clean Energy Leader" strategy. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna, he has experience in various multinational companies as a product manager specialising in alternative fuels.

In order to achieve the global strategic goals of environmental sustainability and decarbonization, the transportation and logistics sector today faces unprecedented challenges. The need to incentivize the deployment of alternative fuels and the existence of different fuel alternatives to be used for the (progressive) decarbonization of logistics and transport systems offer significant food for thought in order to assess the appropriateness of greater regulation of market supply in this particular sector.
