Digitalization and social media are revolutionizing the world as we know it, to the point of creating new technologies as well as new consumer behaviors. The arrival of the metaverse, the
virtual, augmented reality world which in the future should replace social networks, further accelerates this process. the evolution of this process which obviously has its strong points, but also some complexities: Cybersecurity, Data fog, Data ownership, privacy.
